FISHER™ HP Series Control Valves
Main Features
  • High-pressure, single-seated, globe or angle valve with metal seats, cage guides, and push-down-to-close valve plug action, for many high-pressure applications in the process control industry.
  • Stable plug, Interchangeable trim: Rugged cage guiding improves plug stability and reduces vibration and other mechanical stresses, thereby extending trim life. Anti-cavitation Cavitrol III and noise-reducing Whisper III trims are interchangeable with standard trim.
  • Standard hardened trim material with Quick Change Trim: Valve cages, plugs and other trim parts are manufactured from hardened materials. This standard material provides excellent wear resistance. Maintenance is simple and can easily be performed using common tools. Trim components can be quickly removed and changed with no need for special tools.
  • - Multiple trim options: Micro-Flute and Micro-Form plugs provide superb rangeability in high-pressure, low-flow applications. The Cavitrol III can be used to resist cavitation damage, and the Whisper III can be used to reduce noise in noisy conditions.
  • Increased Pressure/Temperature Ratings, Large Diameters Provide Economical Piping: Welded connection HP series valves are available with increased pressure/temperature ratings called intermediate ratings. The extra strength of these valves allows ratings higher than the standard Class900 or Class1500 specified in ASME B16.34. Expanded end connections are available for some sizes, eliminating the need for line swages while accommodating oversized piping arrangements.
  • Compliance with the Clean Air Act, Sour Service Trims Available: optional Enviro-Seal packing system provides improved stem seal to help prevent the loss of valuable process fluid or emission of hazardous process fluid. Long-lasting, erosion and corrosion-resistant trims are available for control of sour service.
