FISHER™ easy-e™ EW Control Valve
Main Features
  • Large internal cavities with expanded end connections, and a variety of balanced and unbalanced plug designs provide an economical, high-capacity valve bodies that keep valve outlet velocities within practical limits, reducing the need for line swages while accommodating oversized piping arrangements.
  • Simple structure, easy maintenance. Top-entry designs allows for in-line maintenance, enabling quick removal of the trims such as cage, plug and seat ring from the top without removing the valve body from the pipeline. The packing box design allows for actuator replacement without depressurization.
  • Hardened stainless steel trim improves wear resistance and extends service life. Precision-machined trim ensures smooth operation. Cage guidance ensures smooth travel of the plug throughout its entire stroke, reducing vibration and mechanical noise.
  • High flow capacity. Streamlined flow passages provide approximately 30-40% higher flow capacity compared to single-seat globe valves of the same size. For the same flow capacity, a smaller valve can be used, saving valve investment.
  • Multiple trim options available, such as noise reduction and anti-cavitation trims.Interchangeable trim with other easy-e series models allows for easy modification of flow characteristics and capacity, reducing spare parts inventory and investment.
  • ENVIRO-SEAL™ packing systems improve stem sealing performance and help prevent process fluid leakage. These packing systems utilize dynamically loaded PTFE or graphite ULF packing, reducing packing maintenance.
  • Increased pressure/temperature ratings. NPS12x8 CL900 EW series valves with buttwelding end connections are capable of increased ASME ratings called Intermediate Standard Ratings. The extra strength of the valve body allows these valves to be used where pressures and temperatures exceed Standard Class ratings in ASME B16.34.
