GULDE 5364 Control Valve for Coal Chemical Industry

The GULDE 5364 Angle Valve is a specialized control valve designed for the coal chemical industry, specifically tailored to address the challenges of high pressure differentials, severe erosion, strong corrosion, and the presence of solid particles in the medium. It is widely used in coal water slurry processes and residual oil treatment sections in the petrochemical industry. The 5364 Angle Valve features a Venturi-style flared design, making it highly suitable for high-pressure drop and flashing conditions. Its patented tungsten carbide hard alloy trim structure provides exceptional erosion and corrosion resistance, while also facilitating easier maintenance and repair.

Main Features

5364 Angle valves are available with a unique patented tungsten carbide inner member structure that is highly resistant to wear. The plug, seat, and seat protection sleeve utilize a patented embedded structure with a 316 stainless steel base, ensuring robust connections, strong external durability, and excellent corrosion resistance.
The 5364 valve body features a Venturi-style flared design and an enlarged outlet, increasing the outlet area to reduce flow velocity and mitigate the effects of flashing and cavitation.
The plug are guided by a special cylindrical profile and are available in plug sizes 12.7 mm to 31.8 mm for equal percentage flow characteristics and in plug sizes 38.1 mm to 114.3 mm for modified parabolic flow characteristics.
Valves in sizes 2x3 inches, 3x4 inches, 4x6 inches, and 6x8 inches are available in flanged or welded configurations with pressure ratings from ANSI CL150 to CL1500 . Additionally, 2x3 inches, 3x4 inches, and 4x6 inches valves are also available in ANSI CL2500.
An optional flushing port is available on the side of the valve body for flushing the spool guide and bushing to prevent coking. For extended bonnets, a pressure balance port on the bonnet is also available as an option.
