The GULDE 5450 Series Cryogenic Control Valve is a specialized valve designed for low-temperature applications, constructed from stainless steel and incorporating advanced valve design principles. The extended neck and internal design of the valve body provide full protection for the packing while effectively controlling temperature conduction, allowing for maintenance of the valve internals without the need to move the valve, greatly simplifying daily maintenance tasks. It is particularly suitable for applications within cold boxes in the air separation industry.
The entire valve assembly complies with ASME design standards and meets the requirements of cryogenic valve standards such as BS6364 and MSS SP-134. It is capable of operating in cryogenic conditions as low as -325°F (-198°C) for throttling or on/off control of liquids or gases. With a complete range of product specifications and stable, reliable performance, this series of products can be widely applied in the air separation industry.
The excellent flow path design and optimization of the 5400 series control valves provides you with sufficient flow capacity. Providing sufficient flow capacity, this series of control valves has been extensively flow tested and evaluated for reliability and durability.
There is no need to remove the valve from the pipeline for maintenance. All replaceable valve internals can be removed and installed through the center flange at the top of the valve body.
Valves with full-size throttle orifice diameters are equipped with restrictor spools for selection, thereby allowing the adjustment of flow rates by replacing the spool without the need to disassemble the seat ring under the condition of a full-size throttle orifice diameter. Additionally, smaller throttle orifice diameters can be provided to further reduce the flow rate, catering to customer requirements.
The valve body, extension bonnet and center flange are connected by welding, and there is no gasket connection in the cold box, effectively eliminating the potential leakage risk caused by the traditional gasket connection.
Valves are permitted to be installed in the range of 15-90° above horizontal.
The unique stem liquid-phase seal structure helps the fluid form a vapor barrier inside the body extension neck, preventing fluid from contacting the bonnet and protecting the packing by preventing icing or frosting of the stem.
GULDE 5450 series valves are supplied with PTFE V-ring packing as standard stem packing and graphite packing is also available as an option. In addition, the patented ENVIRO-SEAL packing system is available to improve stem sealing, with a wide choice of packing materials providing excellent sealing performance in virtually all applications. ENVIRO-SEAL packing systems include dynamically loaded PTFE packing, ULF graphite packing and more.
Strict quality control and performance testing ensure the high reliability and durability of the GULDE5450 control valve. It has been certified with the TS certification.
