The 5100 control valve and actuator system is an integrated modular design that facilitates customer application and selection. Once the valve body, seat size and air supply pressure have been selected, the actuator specifications can be determined, eliminating the need for complex actuator sizing.

• Modular design, various air pressure options

The entire control valve and actuator system is modular and well-designed to maximize parts sharing among various sizes. 5100 actuators are available in a total of twelve different spring combinations to accommodate a variety of valve diameters, thus enabling a wide range of air supply pressure options to better suit user conditions.

• Using dynamically loaded packing

Uses dynamically loaded packing. The 5100 control valve system comes standard with dynamically loaded PTFE V-ring packing. The dynamically loaded design helps provide a reliable seal against the process media, conserving the user's valuable process fluids, reducing emissions and providing longer service life. The durable, reliable dynamically loaded packing system also reduces maintenance costs and process downtime.

• A variety of internal components available for selection

For metal seal types, the valve internals are constructed from stainless steel materials. For various corrosive and abrasive conditions, there is also the option of valve internals with an added Stellite alloy hardening layer. Both full-size valve internals and restricted flow internals are available with equal percentage and linear flow characteristics, allowing users to choose according to their specific operating conditions.
