FISHER™ 3582 and 3582i Positioners

FISHER 3582 pneumatic valve positioners and 3582i electro-pneumatic valve positioners , are used with diaphragm-actuated, sliding-stem control valve assemblies. The pneumatic valve positioners receive a pneumatic input signal from a control device and modulate the supply pressure to the control valve actuator, providing an accurate valve stem position that is proportional to the pneumatic input signal.

Main Features
  • Adjustable zero and span ranges allow the use of all standard input signals (including split ranges).
  • One unit of the positioner series can be used for a wide variety of control applications, which not only simplifies basic spare parts requirements, but also reduces the number of spare parts needed for plant-wide positioner applications.
  • Removing the cover makes zero and range adjustments easy with a screwdriver and wrench.
  • Variations in gas supply pressure and valve loading minimize the effect on positioner operation.
  • The housing, components and gaskets are made of materials that can withstand the rigors of the working environment. The positioner exhaust air cleans the internal components, thus providing additional protection.
  • Simple adjustment, switchable between positive and negative action.
