FISHER™ 3582 and 3582i Positioners

FISHER 3582 pneumatic valve positioners and 3582i electro-pneumatic valve positioners , are used with diaphragm-actuated, sliding-stem control valve assemblies. The pneumatic valve positioners receive a pneumatic input signal from a control device and modulate the supply pressure to the control valve actuator, providing an accurate valve stem position that is proportional to the pneumatic input signal.

Main Features

Adjustable zero and span ranges allow the use of all standard input signals (including split ranges).
One unit of the positioner series can be used for a wide variety of control applications, which not only simplifies basic spare parts requirements, but also reduces the number of spare parts needed for plant-wide positioner applications.
Removing the cover makes zero and range adjustments easy with a screwdriver and wrench.
Variations in gas supply pressure and valve loading minimize the effect on positioner operation.
The housing, components and gaskets are made of materials that can withstand the rigors of the working environment. The positioner exhaust air cleans the internal components, thus providing additional protection.
Simple adjustment, switchable between positive and negative action.
