The on-site valve technology training for users is of great significance. It can not only help customers better understand and use the product, but also maximize the number of customers participating in the training, thereby achieving better training results.
Recently, three training instructors from SC went to the user site to conduct an on-site valve technology training. The main purpose of this training is to enhance the technical skills of petrochemical plant engineers, familiarize them with the principles related to different types of valves and positioners, thereby reducing the frequency of valve failures and ensuring stable operation of the equipment.
Nearly 20 engineers from the aromatics department, refining department, chemical department, and hot spot department participated in this training, which covered basic knowledge of valves, selection and explanation of high-pressure differential anti-cavitation valves, daily fault analysis and disposal of high-pressure differential anti-cavitation valves, principle and performance explanation of Fisher positioners, and practical operation of positioners debugging.
The trainees conducted practical operations of TREX handheld devices in their laboratory, gaining a more intuitive understanding and experience, which will provide great assistance to their future work.
In the Q&A session, the SC training instructor provided detailed answers to various questions raised by the trainees. After the training, participants expressed that "training in their own factory makes it easier for them to enter a learning state in a familiar environment, and the many practical skills of the training instructors have also benefited them a lot.
Through this training, participants have mastered the latest technological developments and industry standards of valves and positioners, providing more professional guidance for subsequent equipment selection, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance work. The training also emphasized the importance of valves and positioners in petrochemical production, enhancing the trainees' awareness of equipment management and maintenance, and providing strong guarantees for the safe and stable operation of petrochemical plants.
