The GULDE 6400 is a high-performance, double-eccentric butterfly valve with PTFE soft seals and metal seals in a variety of materials, including SS 316/Alloy 718. Both seals provide excellent sealing performance in both flow directions. The square end of the valve stem conforms to the standard interface requirements of ISO 5211, making it suitable for connection to a wide range of actuators and easy to install. The valves have excellent control performance and are suitable for many applications requiring tight shutoff.
The use of soft seals with pressure-assisted sealing provides excellent bi-directional shutoff capability up to ANSI/FCI70-2 Class VI shutoff requirements.
Multiple Metal Seal Material Options
Metal C-rings are available in SS 316/Alloy 718 and other materials, which are suitable for high temperature, strong corrosion and other working conditions.
Additional stem retainers are provided to give extra protection to the stem. The packing gland and stem blow-out prevention step interact to secure the stem tightly in the valve body.
The standardized stem interface conforms to ISO 5211 and is suitable for connection to a wide range of actuators.
The valve is guaranteed to be durable, smooth and easy to operate.
Packing preload can be easily adjusted without disassembling the valve or actuator.
The switching path of the eccentric butterfly plate minimizes contact between the plate and the sealing ring, thus reducing seal ring wear and abnormal friction, as well as reducing sealing torque requirements.
The modified-linear flow characteristics allow for precise regulation and control.
When the valve body is clamped by the bolts through the pipe flange, the valve body is automatically centered on the pipe, allowing for quick and precise installation.
